Pothole Gardening in New York City, the Cycle-Powered-Cinema and a Jardin-De-Poule!
I was lucky enough to be in The Big Apple recently and I decided to get my fingers dirty and create a little pothole garden in the shadow of the Flatiron Building. There were no little apple trees available (OK, bad joke) so I thought a little Money Tree might be appropriate...
I also ran the Eastern Fringe (with the guys from the Urban Greenline) as part of the Chelsea Finge Festival. We had a great walk from Spitalfields City Farm to Hackney City Farm doing a spot of pothole gardening along the way. The day culminated in our Gardening Short Film Festival powered by our Cycle Cinema!
I was recently sent this wonderful pothole garden (or jardin-de-poule!) from Quebec. You can see the before here. Thank you so much - I love it when I get emails from other keen gardeners!
